Some Suggestions

Some of the Diet Menus that my clients have voted the most popular are available to you.

If you have already read Calorie Counter you will know that I suggest the best and least boring way to lose weight is based on eating patterns and portions - nutritionally balanced by using the Food Guide Pyramid as shown on the Calorie Counter Page .

There are some suggested diet menus (which you can easily obtain by following the instructions at the bottom of this page) based on 3 meals and 3 snacks a day.

Any food you do not like, or which is not in season, can be exchanged using the Food Exchange Lists . The Skimmed Milk snack can always be made into a milky drink like Cappuccino.

Here is an example of one day in a week for women (for men see below) :-


It is generally thought that eating in this pattern keeps your metabolism working at its best and stops you feeling too hungry.
SPECIAL NOTE FOR MEN - Lucky you! You can have double the amount of fruit, vegetables and grain/starchy vegetable. Also two extra portions of meat per day. (See Food Group and Exchange List for single portion sizes.
The diet menus are offered to you for free. All I ask in return is that you stick to them and don't "cheat" yourself by ignoring the important guidelines you will read.
